Legal Intern at Dawn M. Florio Law Firm PLLC

Hampton University, Bachelor of Science

John Jay College for Criminal Justice, Master of Public Policy and Administration

Kevely Molme is a first-generation Brooklynite who was raised in an immigrant household—an experience that later propelled her into advocacy, public service, and, ultimately, a career in law.

Kevely is a third-year Juris Doctorate candidate at St. John’s  University School of Law, where she honed the necessary skills needed to become the best litigator—a representation for her future clients.

At St. John’s, Kevely served in several key roles, including Director of Diversity for the Student Bar Association, Vice Justice of the DeBracton Chapter of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, Black Graduation Coordinator for the Black Law Student Association, and Director of Public Relations for the Trust and Estate Law Society. Currently, Kevely is a Student Attorney at the Defense and Advocacy Clinic at St. Joh’s. There, she represents clients facing misdemeanor charges in Queens County under the supervision of a professor. These positions allowed Kevely the opportunity to challenge misconceptions of the justice system, dispel stereotypes, and uphold its core principle—innocent until proven guilty.

Kevely’s steadfast dedication to future clients is built upon a foundation of defense, advocacy, and service—ensuring positive outcomes for clients during some of the most vulnerable times in their lives. This commitment is demonstrated through past employment, internships, leadership in student organizations, and esteemed memberships, such as a lifetime membership with Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity and The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People.

Kevely will complete her legal studies in May 2025 and sit for the New York State Bar Exam in July 2025.
